WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of mechanized
filing equipment for the Police Central Records Division for the Police
and Municipal Court Building, CIP Project 11-B-01; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted for mechanized filing
equipment for the Police Central Records Division for the Police Depart-
ment:
Data Graphic Business 'Forms:
Three (3) 3" X 5" Card File Cabinets (Model 50101-5315)----$12,480.00
Four (4) Legal Size File Cabinets (Model 9628-16M)--------- 18,164.00
Two (2) 8" X 8" Card Files (Model.9628-1218 (C) ) -----------179856.00
and,
TOTAL----------- $489500.00
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Data Graphic Business Forms is the best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Data. Graphic Business Forms in the amount of $48,500.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment out of the CIP Bond Fund for said
mechanized filing equipment upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
