WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of one (J) 1250
GPM Pumper for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, American LaFrance submitted a bid in the amount of
Sixty -Four Thousand Four Hundred Eighty -Nine and No/100 ($649489.00)
Dollars for the one 1250 GPM Pumper for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by American LaFrance is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of American LaFrance in the amount of $64,489.00 be accep-
ted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is hereby
authorized to make payment for said 1250 GPM Pumper upon acceptable de-
livery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
