WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Trotti & Thomson executed a
certain agreement on April 2, 1974, for the construction of the East
Lucas CIP Project No. 11 -ST -04 at a total estimated contract price of
Nine Hundred Eighty -Six Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty -Seven and 30/100
($986,937.30) Dollars; and,
WHEREAS, this contract overran the quantities of removal of old
concrete, new concrete drive approaches and the hot -mix asphaltic con-
crete surfacing, and the revised total contract price is in the sum of
One Hundred Thirty -One Thousand Five Hundred Sixty -Three and 97/100
($131,563.97) Dollars for the East Lucas CIP Project No. 11 -ST -04; and,
WHEREAS, the City's consulting engineers have inspected the work
and recommend its acceptance in final payment to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of the aforesaid
contract in all particulars and further authorized final payment in the
sum of One Hundred Thirty -One Thousand Five Hundred Sixty -Three and
97/100 ($131,563.97) Dollars to the contractor in accordance with said
contract and changes.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 9 1975.
