WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
brass sleeves and ells for the warehouse of the Water Distribution
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Moore Supply Company submitted a bid in the amount
of One Thousand Two Hundred Thirty -Seven and No/100 ($1,237.00) Dol-
lars for the brass sleeves and ells for -the warehouse of the Water
Distribution Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted,by Moore Supply Company is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Moore Supply Company in the amount of $1,237.00 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont,. and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said brass sleeves and ells
upon acceptable delivery.
