BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Howard Caywood is hereby appointed to serve on the Board of
Equalization for one (1) year from and after the date of his/her
qualification, or until and unless otherwise provided by ordinance
or resolution of the City Council;, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the. Board of Equalization shall
have the powers and duties as conferred upon it by virtue of Article
VIII, Sections 5 through 9 of the Charter -of the City of Beaumont, and
each member shall receive as compensation for his labor as such the sum
of Fifty and No/100 ($50.00) Dollars per day for each day he actually
serves on said Board in the actual discharge of his duties as a member
thereof.
