WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of.one (1) track
paver used for laying "hot mix" for the Street Department; and,
WHEREAS, R. B. Everett Company in Houston, Texas, submitted a
bid in the amount of Five Thousand Six Hundred Ninety -One and 80/100
($5,691.80) Dollars for the Street Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by R. B. Everett Company is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of R. B. Everett Company in the amount of $5,691.80 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is
hereby authorized to make payment for said track paver upon acceptable
delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
