WHEREAS, informal bids were.received for the furnishing of one
(1) heavy duty sewing machine for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Jardell Sewing Machine Exchange submitted ..a bid in the
amount of One Thousand Ninety -Five and No/100 ($1,095.00) Dollars,for
the heavy duty sewing machine for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Jardell Sewing Machine Exchange'is the best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Jardell Sewing Machine Exchange in the amount of $1,095.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is
hereby authorized to make payment for said heavy duty sewing machine upon
acceptable delivery and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont.this the
