WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of hydrated lime
by annual contract for the Water Production Department; and,
WHEREAS, Austin White Lime submitted a bid in the amount of Forty -
Seven and 85/100 ($47.85) Dollars per ton for the annual contract for
hydrated lime for the Water Production Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion -that the bid submitted
by Austin White Lime is the best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bi.d of Austin White Lime in the amount of $47.85 per ton be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is
hereby authorized to make payment for said hydrated lime upon acceptable
delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1975.
