WHEREAS, on November 20, 1974, the City of Beaumont entered
into a lease agreement with Transco Company whereby the City of Beau-
mont leased two (2) buses from Transco Company; and,
WHEREAS, said lease agreement provided that the City may pur-
chase said buses at any time during the first three months of the
lease for a total amount of $1,200 per bus, with all. rental payments
to be deducted from the purchase price;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the option to purchase said buses contained in said lease is
hereby exercised and that the City Manager be, and he is hereby,,
authorized to purchase said buses from Transco Company at a total
balance price of $1,650, and to make payment therefor.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
