WHEREAS, the City Council received bids for an annual
contract for the right to tow away vehicles found to be in
violation of Ordinance No. 70-16; and,
WHEREAS, the bid of Concord Auto Parts, H. W. McIntyre,
in the amount of Seven and 50/100 ($7.50) Dollars per vehicle
was the highest and best price received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Concord Auto Parts in the amount of $7.50
per vehicle is hereby accepted;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that.the City Manager be,
and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with
Concord Auto Parts, and the City Clerk be, and. she is,hereby,
authorized to attest to same and to affix the seal of the
City of Beaumont thereto.
