WHEREAS, Harding- and.,.Lawler.Steel. submitted a bid in
the amount of One Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Six, and No/100
($1,656.00) Dollars for forty .six ..(46) "pieces of steel mesh,
and Beaumont -Steel �submitted,a* bid in' the amount. of Three..
Hundred Sixty. Seven and 20%100 ($367-.20) Dollars for 'nine
hundred sixty feet -.(960'') of flat bar; . and',
WHEREAS, the City_Council is of -.the opinion that the
bids submitted by Harding'.and Lawler Steel and Beaumont Steele .
are.the lowest and the best bids and, should be accepted:
NOW, THEREFORE,,' BE IT. RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL- OF: THE ,CITY `OF BEAUMONT
THAT the bids of Harding and Lawler Steel -and Beaumont Steel
in •the amounts of. $1)656.00 and $367•.20, respectively, be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and.the.appropriate City
Official is hereby authorized to.make.payment for.said forty .
six (46)., pieces of `:steel mesh`and nine hundred 'sixty feet
(960') of flat bar,upon.acceptable delivery and/or instal-
lation.
