WHEREAS, only one'.bid was received for the furnishing of one
(1) controller cabinet for the Traffic and Transportation Department;
and,
WHEREAS, Automatic Signal Company submitted a bid in the amount
of Three Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy and No/100 ($3,870.00) Dollars,
plus freight, for the one controller cabinet for the Traffic and Trans-
portation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Automatic Signal Company was the only bid received and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Automatic Signal Company in the amount of $3,870.00,
plus freight, be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized -to make payment for said controller
cabinet upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
