WHEREAS, the City -of Beaumont and Holloway Sand $ Gravel Company,
Inc. entered into a certain agreement to furnish all labor, superinten-
dence, material and equipment to perform all work necessary to the con-
struction of CIP Project 11=SU-04, which is the West End Interceptor
Project; and,-
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 to said contract has been proposed,
under which said change order a total sum -of Thirty -Seven Thousand One
Hundred Thirty and No/100 ($37,130.00) Dollars has been added., which
amount is available within the CIP construction budget, said change being
for furnishing additional cement stabilized sand which is required by the
Texas Highway Department for the crossing under Interstate Highway 10;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on be-
half of the City of Beaumont the above described change order to the
original contract, and that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest
to same and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
