WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Miner -Dederick Construction
Company entered into a certain agreement on December 5, 1972, to furnish
all labor, superintendence, material and equipment to perform all work
necessary to the construction*of CIP Project 11-B-01, which is the
Police and Municipal Court Building; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 4 to said contract has been proposed,
under which -said change order, the following changes will be made:
and,
(1) Move three outlets in Room U-156;
(2) Blank off floor outlets and install
outlet in wall in Room M-137;
(3) Install two, 100 -watt heaters and
switches in film drying closets in
place of light bulbs;
WHEREAS, the total cost of these three changes would be the addi-
tional expenditure of $311..00, for a total revised contract cost of
$2,834,997.60, which amount of $311.00 is available within the CIP con-
struction budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on be-
half of the City of Beaumont the above described change order to the
original contract, and that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest
to same and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1975.
