WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of twelve (12)
emergency light sets for the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Fargo International of Decatur, Georgia, submitted a
bid in the amount of Five Thousand Forty -Five and 52/100 ($5,042.52) for
the twelve emergency light sets for the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the" bid sub-
mitted by Fargo International is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Fargo International in the amount of $5,042.52 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is hereby autho-
rized to make payment for said twelve emergency light sets upon acceptable
delivery and/or installation.
