WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Greer Construction Company
executed a certain contract on November 5, 19.74, for the construction
of concrete curb and gutter on the Mariposa Street project at a total
contract price of Twelve Thousand and Forty -Six and. 62/100 ($12,046.62)
Dollars; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Be-aumont has already made an interim pay-
ment of One Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety -Two and 80/100 ($1,792.80)
Dollars, leaving the amount of Ten Thousand Two Hundred Fifty -Three and
82/100 ($10,253.82) Dollars as a final payment; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the work and recommends
its acceptance in final payment to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont.hereby accepts the completion of the aforesaid
contract in all particulars and further authorizes final payment in the
amount of $10,253.82 to the contractor in accordance with said contract.
