R E S 0 L U T I O' N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of one (1)
stationary diesel engine for the Solid Waste Department; and,
WHEREAS, Cummins Sales &.Service, Inc. of Orange, Texas,
submitted a bid in the amount of Two Thousand Five Hundred Thirty -
Four and 96/100 ($2,534.96) Dollars for the stationary diesel engine
for the Solid Waste Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Cummins Sales & Service, Inc. is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
.CITY COUNCIL OF THE .CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Cummins Sales & Service, Inc. in the amount of
$2,534.96 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said stationary
diesel engine upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
