WHEREAS, on February 4, 1971, the City of Beaumont, Texas,
did file with the County C1erk,of Jefferson County, Texas, a
certain lien in the amount of $7.50, including costs of re-
cording, covering LOT EIGHT (8) BLOCK THIRTEEN (13) , of the
BEL AIR ADDITION to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, which said lien is.recorded in the M & L Records of
said County in Volume 1381, Page 191; and
WHEREAS, PRESTON S. DAIGLE is the owner of said property
and desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the money repre-
sented by said lien and have same released to him;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF -THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That KEN RITTER, Mayor, be, and he -is hereby authorized
to excute and deliver to the said PRESTON S. DAIGLE a
release of the above described lien for and in consider-
ation of the sum aforementioned, receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged, .and the City_Clerk is hereby authorized
to attest to same and to affix the Seal of the City of
Beaumont thereto.
