WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and J.C.N. Pavers, Inc. executed
a certain contract on the 27 day of February, 1973, for the construction
of Corley, Madison, and Sycamore, CIP Project No. 11 -ST -05, at a total
contract price of $463,948.88; and,
WHEREAS, $61,607.79 remains unpaid on said. contract based on
actual work performed; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the work and has recom-
mended its acceptance and final payment in the amount of $61,607.79 to
be made to the contractor based on actual work performed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of the afore-
said contract in all particulars and does further authorize the final
payment of $61,607.79 to the said contractor.
