R E S' 0 L U T 'I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of a felt -coated
roof with a two-year written guarantee, gravel guard and flashing, for
the Health Department; and,
WHEREAS, Shackelford Roofing Company submitted a bid in the
amount of Thirteen Thousand and No/100 ($13,000.00) Dollars for the
felt -coated roof for the Health Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Shackelford Roofing Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Shackelford Roofing Company in the amount of $13,000.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said felt -coated roof upon
acceptable delivery and/or installation.
