R E' 'S' '0' 'L'U T 'I' '0' N
WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
eighteen (18) lawnmowers to be used as budgeted by City Departments;
and,
WHEREAS, Tyrrell Hardware submitted a bid in the amount of
Seventy and 96/100 ($70.96) Dollars per lawnmower and a total.bid of
One Thousand Two Hundred Seventy -Seven and 20/100 ($1,277.20) Dollars
for the eighteen lawnmowers; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Tyrrell Hardware is the lowest and best bid and should be
.accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Tyrrell Hardware in the amount of $1,277.20 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is hereby
authorized to make payment for said eighteen lawnmowers upon acceptable
delivery.
