WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Trotti and Thomson, General
Contractors, entered into a certain agreement to furnish all labor,
superintendence, material and equipment to perform all work necessary
for the construction of CIP Project No. 11 -ST -04, which is the East
Lucas Project; and,
WHEREAS, a supplementary agreement, Change Order No. 1, has been
proposed, under which said supplementary agreement certain changes will
be made in the plans and specifications which involve an increase to
the contract of'$5,250.00, which would involve an additional ten (10)
working days to provide for the adjustment of fifteen (15) existing man-
hole rings and covers to conform with new grades of the roadway, which
aforementioned amount is available within the construction budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on
behalf of the City of Beaumont the above described supplemental agree-
ment to the original contract; and,,that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized to attest to same and to affix the Seal of the City of
Beaumont thereto.
