WHEREAS, bids were received December 3, 1974, for the furnish-
ing of the construction of fencing at the Water Utilities Service
Center, the same being CIP Project.No. 11-WU-01; and,
WHEREAS, Bell Fence Manufacturers submitted a bid in the amount
of Seventeen Thousand Four Hundred Eighty -Six and 95/100 C$17,486.95)
Dollars for the fencing for the Water Utilities Service Center; and,
WHEREAS, the City -Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Bell Fence Manufacturers is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid.of Bell Fence Manufacturers in the amount of $17,486.95
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment out of the Capital Improvements
Program Bond Fund, Project No. 11-WU-01, for said fencing at the Water
Utilities Service Center, upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
