WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
one Cl) portable selective voltmeter for testing of the control sys-
tems at the Water Department installations; and,
WHEREAS, Rycom Instruments submitted a bid in the amount of
One Thousand Six Hundred Five and No/100 ($1,605.00) Dollars for the
portable selective voltmeter for testing of the control systems for
the Water Department installations; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Rycom Instruments is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW,. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Rycom Instruments.in the amount of $1,605.00 be ac-
cepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is
hereby authorized to make payment out of the Capital Improvements
Program, Bond Fund Project No. 11-WU-02, for said portable selective
voltmeter for testing of the control systems at the Water Department
installations upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
