WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
four (4) remote control units for Capital Improvements Program Pro-
ject No. 11-WU-01, the same being the new Water Utilities Service
Center; and,
WHEREAS, General Electric Company.submitted a bid in the
amount of One Thousand Three Hundred Sixty and No/100 ($1,360.00)
Dollars for the four remote control units for the new Water Utilities
Service Center; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by General Electric Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted; I
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IY RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of General Electric Company in the amount of $1,360.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment out of the CIP.Progr.am Bond Fund
for said four remote control units upon acceptable delivery and/or
installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
