R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
fifteen (15) six (611) inch MJ valves for the Water Distribution De-
partment; and,
WHEREAS, American Darling Valve & Manufaduring Company, Inc.
submitted a bid in the amount of One Thousand Six Hundred Fifty -Three
and 75/100 ($1,653.75) Dollars for.the.fifteen 6" MJ valves for the
Water Distribution Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City.Cbuncil is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by American Darling Valve,& Manufacturing Company., Inc. is the
best and lowest bid received and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of American Darling Valve $ Manufacturing Company, Inc.
in the amount of $1,653.75 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the
appropriate City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said
fifteen 6" MJ valves upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
