WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of appliances
for the Police Jail Kitchen for the Beaumont Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted:
Beaumont Hotel Supply one (1) range$1,135.00
one (1) deep fryer 545.00

and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids sub-
mitted by Beaumont Hotel Supply, Bowen T.V. & Appliance, Warren Refri-
geration, and Wallace Refrigeration are the lowest and best bids and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Beaumont Hotel Supply in the total amount of $1,843.00,
of Bowen T.V. & Appliance in the total amount of $400.00, of Warren Re-
frigeration in the total amount of $1,845.85, and of Wallace Refrigera-
tion in the total amount of $1,078.20 be accepted by the City of Beaumont,
and the appropriate City Official is hereby authorized to make payment
for said appliances upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
