R E S 0L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, the acquisition of land along and on either side
of University Drive is essential to the widening, location, con
struction and maintenance of University Drive, and is considered
to be in the best interest of the City of Beaumont; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY.THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Legal Department be, and'it is hereby, directed
to commence negotiations with the property owners of the -herein-
above described land as may be necessary for the hereinabove de-
scribed purpose, to the end that ,the City of Beaumont shall
acquire the right-of-way necessary to accomplish said purpose,
and to the further end that property owners thereof shall receive
the fair cash value for their property.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL on this the day of
