WHEREAS, on May 28, 1974, the City Council of the City of
Beaumont authorized a pipeline permit license to Dow Chemical Company
for a proposed pipeline crossing the City's Bunn Canal, Old Voth Road,
Lawrence Drive and Helbig Road; and,
WHEREAS, Dow Chemical Company desires to assign said pipeline
permit licenses to Bronco Pipeline Company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute ac-
ceptance of an assignment by Dow Chemical Company of the existing pipe-
line permit licenses granted to Dow Chemical Company on May 28, 1974,,
for the crossing of the City's Bunn Canal, Old Voth Road, Lawrence
Drive and Helbig Road to Bronco Pipeline Company, a wholly-owned sub-
sidiary of Dow Chemical Company; and,
BE I.T FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized
to attest to said legal instrument and to affix the Seal of the City of
Beaumont thereto.
