WHEREAS, bids were received on October 22, 1974, for the fur-
nishing of equipment and vehicles for various City Departments; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted for equipment and
vehicles for various City Departments:

WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids sub-
mitted by the aforementioned companies are the lowest and best bids
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY'OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Beaumont Motors in the total amount of $87,912.65,
Coleman Bernard in the total amount of $49,751.16, Kinsel Ford in the
total amount of $60.,234.72, GMC Dixie Truck in the total amount of
$49,974.00, Tideland's International in the'total.amount of $155,561.40,
Michel Machinery in the total amount of $20,718.04, International Har-
vester in the total amount of $16,727.00, Equipment Headquarters in the
total amount of $52,698.00, Hyco Equipment Company in the total amount
of $11,170.00, and of Fogle Equipment Company in the amount of $65,900.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is
hereby authorized to make payment for said equipment and vehicles upon`
acceptable delivery.
