WHEREAS, bids were received October 29, 1974, for the construc-
tion of concrete curb and gutter for Mariposd Street; and,
WHEREAS, Greer Construction Company submitted a bid in the
amount of Eleven Thousand One Hundred Fifty and 22/100 ($11)150.22)
Dollars with forty-five (45) working days to complete the construction
of the concrete curb and gutter for Mariposa Street; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of'the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Greer Construction Company is the lowest''and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Greer Construction,Company-in the amount of $11,150.22
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said construction of concrete
curb and gutter for Mariposa Street upon acceptable delivery and/or
installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
