WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
meter parts (corporations and curb stops) for stock for the Water Dis-
tribution Department; and,
WHEREAS, Mabry Foundry submitted a bid in the amount of One
Thousand One Hundred Eighteen and 50/100 ($1,118.50) Dollars for the
meter parts (corporations and curb slDps) for the Water Distribution
Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City -Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Mabry Foundry is the best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Mabry Foundry in the amount of $1,118.50 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is hereby
authorized to make payment for,sai.d meter.parts upon acceptable delivery
and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
