WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of one (1)
variable speed drive for the Primer Street Station for the Water
Reclamation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Palmer-Hastik and Associates submitted a bid in the
amount of Five Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty -Seven and No/100
($.5,787.00) Dollars for the variable 'speed drive for the Primer Street
Station for the Water Reclamation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Palmer-Hastik and Associates is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Palmer-Hastik and Associates in the amount of $5,787.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said variable speed drive upon
acceptable delivery and/or installation.
