R ES O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, in order to avoid potential damage to the sub -base
in the Mariposa Street construction project, it is necessary to have
limestone base material immediately; and,
WHEREAS, said limestone base material cannot be obtained
from our contract source;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the appropriate City Official is hereby authorized to purchase
from the best available source .as an emergency measure, 5,400 yards
of limestone for the Mariposa Street construction project.
