WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of turkeys for
the City of Beaumont employees' Christmas party; and',
WHEREAS, J -M Poultry Packing Company submitted a bid in the
amount..of Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy -Six and No/100 ($7,776.00)
Dollars, or approximately $6.48,per turkey, for the turkeys for the City
of Beaumont employees' Christmas.party; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by J -M Poultry Packing Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of J -M Poultry Packing.Company in the amount of $7,776.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment for,said turkeys upon acceptable
delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
