R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Texas Highway Commission passed.Minute Order No.
69410 on October 1, 1974, authorizing the State Highway Engineer to
proceed with the construction of Dowlen Road between Lexington and
Delaware Streets as stated in said Minute Order; and,
WHEREAS, said Minute Order provided that it would become opera-
tive upon acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, such Minute Order provided further that it would be
automatically cancelled if not accepted by the City of Beaumont within
ninety (90) days from its date; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it is to the
best interest of the City to accept said Minute Order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF.BEAUMONT:
THAT Minute Order No. 69410 passed on October 1, 1974, by the Texas
Highway Commission be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
