R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
lumber for remodeling the part of Tyrrell Library to be used for the
Beaumont Consolidated. Delinquent Tax Agency; and,
WHEREAS, Roy Lee Lumber Company submitted a bid in the amount
of One Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty -Six and 88/100 ($1,926,88) Dollars
for the lumber for remodeling the part of Tyrrell Library to be used
for the Beaumont Consolidated Delinquent Tax Agency; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Roy Lee Lumber Company is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Roy Lee Lumber Company in the amount of $1,926.88 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is
hereby authorized to make payment for said lumber upon acceptable deli-
very and/or installation.
