WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
drop-in type acoustic ceiling in the part of Tyrrell Library to be used
for the Beaumont Consolidated Delinquent Tax Agency; and,
WHEREAS, Burt's Ceiling Company submitted a bid in the amount
of One Thousand Fifty -Six and No/100 ($1,,056.00) Dollars for the drop-
in type acoustic ceiling in the part of Tyrrell Library to be used for
the Beaumont Consolidated Delinquent Tax'Agency; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the op inionthat the bid sub-
mitted by Burt's Ceiling Company is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Burt's Ceiling Company in the amount of $19056.00 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is
hereby authorized to make payment for said drop-in type acoustic ceiling
in the part of Tyrrell Library to be used for the Beaumont Consolidated
Delinquent Tax Agency upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
