WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
repair parts (48-6" Dresser 160 Bell Joint Clamps, and 12-12" Dresser
160 Bell Joint Clamps) for the Water and Sewer Maintenance Department;
and,
WHEREAS, Dresser Manufacturing Company submitted a bid in the
amount of One Thousand Three Hundred Eleven and 48/100 ($1)311.48)
Dollars for the repair parts (48-6" Dresser 160 Bell Joint Clamps, and
12-12" Dresser 160 Bell Joint Clamps) for the Water and Sewer Mainte-
nance Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Dresser Manufacturing Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Dresser Manufacturing Company in the amount of $1,311.48
be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the appropriate City Official is
hereby authorized to make payment for said repair parts (48-6" Dresser
160 Bell Joint Clamps, and 12-12" Dresser 160 Bell Joint Clamps) upon
acceptable delivery and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
