WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
five (5) eight -yard containers for the Solid Waste Department; and,
WHEREAS, Duncan Equipment Company submitted a bid in the
amount of One Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy -Five and No/100 ($1,875.00)
Dollars for the five eight -yard containers for the Solid Waste Depart-
ment; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Duncan Equipment Company is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Duncan Equipment Company in the amount of $1,875.00 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is
hereby authorized to make payment for said five eight -yard containers
upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
