WHEREAS, bids were received on September 24, 1974, for the fur-
nishing of Civic Center Complex Plant Materials; and,
WHEREAS, the following submitted bids for the Civic Center Com-
plex Plant Materials:

Eleventh Street Center A $5,518.50
Eleventh Street Center C $85305.50
Eleventh Street Center D $1,990.00
Green Leaf Nursery B $4,417.36
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids sub-
mitted by Eleventh Street Center and Green Leaf Nursery are the lowest
and best bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Eleventh Street Center in the amounts of
$5$18.50, $8,305.50 and $1,990.00 and by Green Leaf Nursery in the
amount of $4,417.36 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the ap-
propriate City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said
Civic Center Complex.Plant Materials upon acceptable delivery and/or
installation.
