WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of a concession
contract for the Park & Recreation Department and the Building Mainte-
nance Department; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Charles Sonnier dba Charlie's Port-AkRental submitted
a bid in the amount of fifteen (15%) percent of,gross sales for the con-
cession contract for the Park $ Recreation Department and the Building
Maintenance Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Charlie's Port -A -Rental is the best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Charlie's Port -A -Rental in the amount of 15% of gross
sales be accepted by the'City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute a concession contract with Charlie's Port -A -Rental,
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said contract.
