R E' S 0 L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received on September 17, 1974, for the
furnishing of equipment for a remote pump station control system, for
operation and status monitoring o -f Lawson's Pump Station from the Pine
Street Water Works Main Pump Station, the same being Capital Improve-
ments Program Project No. 11-WU-02; and,
WHEREAS, Engineered Sales and Service Company submitted a bid
in the amount of Five Thousand Eight Hundred and No/100 ($5,800.00)
Dollars for the equipment for a remote pump station control system for
operation and status monitoring of Lawson's Pump Station from the Pine
Street Water Works Main Pump Station; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Engineered Sales and Service Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Engineered Sales and Service'Company in the amount of
$5,800.00 be accepted by the City of.Beaumont, and the appropriate City
Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said equipment for a
remote pump station control system for operation and status monitoring
of Lawson's Pump Station from the Pine Street Water Works Main Pump
Station, CIP Project 11-WU-02, upon acceptable delivery and/or installa-
tion.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
