WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of the below -
listed items for the Water Utilities Service Center, Capital Improve-
ments Program Project No. 11-WU-01; and,
WHEREAS, Lamb's Printing & Stationary submitted a bid in the
amount of Three Thousand Six Hundred Fifty -Seven and 95/100 ($3)657.95)
Dollars; Fernon's submitted;"a bid in the amount of Two Thousand Three
Hundred Seventy -Nine and No/100 ($2,379.00) Dollars; Beaumont Typewriter
submitted a bid in the amount of One Thousand Seven Hundred Ten and
16/100 ($1,710.16) Dollars; White Blue Print submitted a bid in the
amount of Two Hundred Thirty -Two and 20/100 ($232.20) Dollars; and
Szafir's submitted a bid in the amount of Ninety -Three and No/100
($93.00) Dollars for the below -listed items for the Water Utilities

WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids sub-
mitted by Lamb's Printing & Stationary, Fernon's, Beaumont Typewriter,
White Blue Print, and Szafir's are the lowest and best bids and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Lamb's Printing & Stationary in the_amount of $3,657.95,
Fernon's in the amount of $2,379.00, Beaumont Typewriter in the amount of
$1,710.16, White Blue Print in the amount of $232.20, and Szafir's in the
amount of $93.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said above -listed.
items upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
