WHEREAS, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has requested
permission to continue the operation of a radio tower upon land -located
in Tyrrell Park; and,
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee has unani-
mously recommended that this authority be granted to the Texas Parks
and Wildlife Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the authority
to operate this radio tower should be extended to the Texas Parks and
Wildlife Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he_is hereby, authorized to execute a
permit to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department allowing a continued
operation of the radio tower located in Tyrrell Park within the City
limits of the City of Beaumont; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
to attest to said permit.
