R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, J. Weingarten,,. Inc, and Ada Oil Company'have
placed'.in.escrow the sum of -1$40,000 to'be paid to the City of
Beaumont to assist in the' construction _of a recreation building
at Sprott Park; and,
WHEREAS, the City,'of Be;aumont`has.complied with all
conditions established in said -escrow agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE,'B,E.IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:.
THAT '"the City . Manager be, and, he is hereby, authorized to accept
the sum of $40,000 from Texas State' -Bank of Beaumont. escrow
agent, and to execute an acceptance of -said gift according to
the terms and conditions thereof.
