RES OLUT'I ON
WHEREAS, under the Assessment Paving Program of the City of
Beaumont, the Public Works Department has recommended the paving of Beale
Street and St. Louis Street from Virginia Street to Highland Drive and of
Bourbon Street, BasinlStreet and Rampart Street from Beale Street to St.
Louis Street as these streets exist in Blocks 1 through 6 of the Virginia
Estates Addition;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont is of the
opinion that this recommendation should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the recommendation by the Public Works Department that Beale Street
and St. Louis Street from Virginia Street to Highland Drive and Bourbon
Street, Basin Street and Rampart Street from Beale Street to St. Louis Street
be paved under the Assessment Paving Program is hereby approved and the
Public Works Department is directed to'prepare plans, specifications and
cost estimates with reference to this Project for presentation to the
City Council.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
