RE'S'0 LUT'I ON
WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of 25 fire
hydrants for the Water Distribution Division; and,
WHEREAS, American -Darling Valve & Mfg. submitted a bid in
the amount of Six Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty -One and 25/100
($6,731.25) Dollars for the 25 fire hydrants for the Water Distri-
bution Division; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by American -Darling Valve & Mfg. isthe lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of American -Darling Valve & Mfg. in the amount of
$6,731.25 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said 25 fire
hydrants upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
