WHEREAS, informal bids were received on August 22,'1974, for
the furnishing of seamless gutters to be installed at the Central
Fire Station; and,
WHEREAS, Bailey's Seamless Gutter Service submitted a bid in
the amount of One Thousand Three Hundred Two and No/100 ($1,302.00)
Dollars for the seamless gutters to be installed at the Central Fire
Station; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Bailey's Seamless Gutter Service is the lowest and best
bid of informal bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Bailey's Seamless Gutter Service in the amount of
$1,302.00 be accepted by the City. of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said seamless
gutters to be installed at the Central Fire Station upon acceptable
delivery and/or installation.
