R E 'S 0 L U 'T' I' -0 N
WHEREAS, bids were received on August 27, 1974, for the fur-
nishing of approximately 150 tons of bulk hydrated lime for the con-
structioh of Mariposa Street from South Street to Cedar Street; and,
WHEREAS, Austin White Lime Company submitted a bid in the
amount of Thirty -Two and 70/100 ($32.70) Dollars per ton for the
bulk hydrated lime for the construction of Mariposa Street from South
Street to Cedar Street; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Austin White Lime Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Austin White Lime Company in the amount of $32.;70
per ton be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said bulk
hydrated lime upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
